All is well here in Egypt. We had a minor hiccup today when the water ran out, but that appears to be fixed and I am hopeful that all the students and staff were able to shower tonight prior to going to bed. To the right is a great picture of the Sphinx and one of the pyramids. The students had a great time and despite the extremely hot temperature and the crowds. There are many more tourists here this year than in past years--perhaps the economy is improving worldwide.
To the right you see a picture of Lynise inside of a structure just outside of the pyramids.
Not too many people were willing to get down in the hole.
To the left is a picture of Kalyn exiting a very tight crawl space in a structure near the pyramids. It is small, slippery, and dark. We think it was used as a burial chamber.
Hey everyone Lynise & Elayashia here, just wanted to share that being apart of the Student Life Organization is really a great experience. We are enjoying all the sessions so much. They are very beneficial and we are already coming up with ideas that would help better IAF. The SLC's are amazing and we are very grateful that they are taking time out of their schedules to be with us. We are really learning a lot of new techniques on teamwork and positive attitudes. Today we visited the great Pyramids. They were amazing and very beautiful. Pictures will be up very soon :) Going to visit a resort tomorrow along the Red Sea where we will be swimming and playing lots of activities together. We can't wait to get home and share with everyone. Until next time Peace & Love.
